1. Overview
At edott, we are committed to ensuring your satisfaction with every purchase. We understand that buying photocopiers, printers, and office equipment is a significant investment, and we want you to feel confident in your purchase. This Return Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which returns and exchanges are accepted.
We accept returns for both defective and non-defective products, as well as exchanges. Since we deal in specialized electronic equipment including new and slightly used photocopiers and printers, our return policy is designed to be fair while protecting against misuse. There are no restocking fees on any returns.
2. Return Eligibility
Returns and exchanges are accepted under the following conditions:
- The product must be returned within 7 days of delivery
- The product must be in its original packaging with all accessories, manuals, and cables included
- The product must not have been installed, used, or show signs of physical damage caused by the buyer
- A valid proof of purchase (invoice or order confirmation) must be provided
- The return request must be communicated to us via WhatsApp or email before shipping the product back
- Returns are accepted in-store at our Rawalpindi location or via arranged pickup within Rawalpindi/Islamabad
- No restocking fees are charged on any eligible return
3. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return or exchange:
- Toner cartridges, ink cartridges, and refill supplies (due to hygiene and compatibility concerns)
- Products that have been opened, installed, or used after delivery
- Products with removed or tampered serial number labels
- Custom-configured or special order items
- Products purchased on clearance or marked as final sale
- Items damaged due to misuse, power surges, or improper handling by the buyer
4. Defective or Damaged Products
If you receive a product that is defective or damaged during shipping, please contact us immediately within 24 hours of delivery. In such cases:
- We will arrange a free replacement or full refund at our discretion
- You must provide photos or videos of the damage or defect via WhatsApp
- Do not discard the original packaging until the issue is resolved
- Our technical team may visit your location for inspection if needed (within Rawalpindi/Islamabad)
5. Warranty Claims
Many of our products come with a manufacturer's warranty or an edott service warranty. Warranty terms vary by product:
- New products: Covered under the manufacturer's warranty (typically 1 year). Contact us to coordinate the warranty claim.
- Refurbished products: Covered under edott's service warranty (varies by product, typically 1 to 6 months). Warranty covers internal mechanical and electronic faults only.
- Warranty does not cover consumables (toner, drums, rollers), physical damage, or issues caused by power fluctuations.
6. How to Request a Return
To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

- Our team will review your request and respond within 1 business day
- If approved, we will provide return instructions and a return authorization
- Bring the product to our store in Rawalpindi, or we will arrange pickup within the Rawalpindi/Islamabad area. For other cities, ship the product securely in its original packaging to our address.
- Once we receive and inspect the product, we will process your refund or exchange. Refund processing may take up to 30 days from the date the return is received.
7. Refund Process
Approved refunds will be processed as follows:
- Refunds are issued via bank transfer to the original payment method or account provided by the buyer
- Refund processing time is up to 30 days after the returned product has been received and inspected
- No restocking fees are charged on eligible returns
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to a defect or error on our part
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer unless the product was defective or incorrectly shipped
8. Exchanges
We accept exchanges on all eligible products. If you would like to exchange a product for a different model, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. Exchanges are subject to product availability and may involve a price adjustment. The original product must meet all return eligibility conditions listed in Section 2 above.
